APS - vocals

The Voice that fronts the BRUIZE, APS commands the stage with all of the elements that make a great rock and roll front man. His unique vocal style, along with his clever tongue in cheek, yet brutally forward lyrical style give the BRUIZE a song writing edge that stays true to heart with a simple message that can range from pleasure to pain, love and hate and all emotions in between. His early influences along with current favorites include Rod Stewart, Paul Stanley (KISS), John Corabi (Union / ESP / Ratt / Motley Crue) and Taime Downe (Faster Pussycat / Newlydeads). In addition to his vocal duties, APS also adds a second guitar element to the BRUIZE sound. His guitars of choice are Gibson 6 and 12 string acoustics, Fender Stratocasters, and Ibanez Icemans. A founding member of MUSHROOM BRUIZE, APS sings and writes with a passion for his band, his love of music, and all that comes with the territory of being a great rock and roll performer.

GREG TURNER - bass/backing vocals

Greg began playing bass and guitar at the age of 16 after witnessing his first (but not last) Motley Crue concert. Citing Nikki Sixx as his primary influence, he has also studied a wide array of bassists including Sean Yesult (White Zombie), Phil Swill (Swill) and Twiggy Ramierez (Marilyn Manson/ A Perfect Circle). His musical tastes vary from contemporary jazz to late 60's and 70's pop and R&B classics, but loves bands such as the New York Dolls, Backyard Babies and the Sex Pistols for their raw, attitude driven music fueled by a dangerously matching lifestyle. Greg's songwriting style leans towards these power punk influences, along with an early British hard rock flavor and simple and repetitive hooks that compliment APS's vocal presence. Greg's live gear includes (but is not limited to): Line 6 preamps and by Marshall and Ampeg power amps, Marshall cabinets and Boss effects. For basses, Turner prefers Gibson Flying V's and Thunderbirds, B.C. Rich, and was previously endorsed by Fernandes Basses.
